The Feel Good Festival happened on a wonderfully sunny 7th of June. It was a celebration of creativity and healthy living funded by Islington Council with all sorts of stalls alongside our usual array offering for example shiatsu, argen oil, aloe vera and Indian head massage.
We had free activities for young people including face painting and the chance to make a musical instrument out of junk. There was also a rowing competition provided by the local leisure centre. We were joined by the local street wardens and Islington's recycling team who gave out information and advice. Community Kitchen were giving free luxurious smoothies and all sorts of information on affordable healthy eating. Live music came in the form of local bands The Gloves, Archway Samba and the Holloway Jug Band.
All in all it was a great success, and we hope to do it again next year!
